Nepal celebrates 60 years of conquest of the Mt. Everest!

Nepal is celebrating 60 years of first successful Mt. Everest ascension! And a four day countrywide celebration has already begun to mark the 60th anniversary of the first successful Mt. Climbing by the human being, Nepal's official sources said. The celebration will end up on Wednesday 29th May 2013 which marks 60th anniversary of climbing Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa.
The date is specially significant for the pupils of Khumjung School, which was established by Sir Edmund Hillary as part of his extensive philanthropic work in the region.
The conquest of Mt. Everest
On 29th May 2013 at 11:30 a.m. local time, Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa from Nepal reached the pinnacle of Mt. Everest to create the history! Sir Edmund Hillary reached the pinnacle to become the first human being to reach the top of the Mt. Everest. With this, they both proved that with good health and a robust will power, nothing is impossible!
Marking the 60th anniversary of human victory over the Mt. Everest
Hundreds of people from all classes of society are approaching towards Mt. Everest and are trying to follow the steps of the two of the greatest climbers of the human history. Month of May is considered ideal month to climb mountains the Himalayas since the weather is relatively moderate during this time. It is believed that around 500 people have already succeeded in this year. On reaching the summit, many of these called their loved ones while some other posed for photographs on the summit of the Mt. Everest!
