Overview:
It is the largest city and former capital of Gujarat. Ahmedabad is situated on the Sabramati river banks at a distance of 30 km from the state capital Gandhinagar. The Jali screen windows signify the Indo-Saracenic styling, which is venerated by people all across the world. 
 
Kankaria Lake: Constructed in 1451 by Sultan Qutubub-Din, it happens to be a circular lake. In the center of the lake, you will find an island garden which has a summer palace called the Nagina Wadi. It is a widespread leisure center, enclosed by parks, zoo, museum, 'Bal Vatika', boat club and lots of eating hubs.
