DAY 03
Today after a good night’s sleep and breakfast, you will proceed to do a cycling tour where you will be taken through small dirt roads to a local village. Experience the countryside of Galle on a memorable cycling tour with Beyond Escapes Cycling crew. You will enjoy the rural countryside attractions and admire the life of rural villagers & a bird watching experience in a lagoon. The total cycling trail is just 12 kilometres.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a walking tour in the dutch fort of Galle,a UNESCO world heritage site. Galle Fort was built by the Portuguese in 1588, and then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work was done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka.
