Day 1

Arrive Delhi

On arrival you will be welcomed by our Tour Manager at the airport lounge with Prakriti Inbound signboard. Transfer to hotel where you will receive a traditional welcome with Garland and "Tilak" while hotel formalities are completed. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi – Jaisalmer

After breakfast and tour briefing we grab our camera-bags and head off for our first trip of sightseeing and photo shoot of India's Capital Delhi. We will visit Qutub Minar the 379-step tall tower dating to 1193, 72.5 meters high, made of red sandstone and marble is the tallest Miner in India, a popular UNISCO world heritage monument found on many photo repositories and albums of the world. Visit camera friendly 17th century Jama Masjid India's principal and biggest mosque, capable of holding 20000 devotees at time and then the unmissable buzzing chaos of Chandni Chowk for street shooting. Your next adventure begins as we board overnight train in the evening for a rocking'-and-rolling' journey to Jaisalmer in air-conditions sleeper class. Packed dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3

Jaisalmer

Today just before noon, we roll into Jaisalmer, the Golden City to reflect its lovely sandstone hues and transfer to hotel. After wash and change we'll head straight out to the city and start shooting. Late in the afternoon we'll head out to the Sand Dunes. We're hunting for the camels, not to ride them but to take amazing photographs of them on the dunes. Jaisalmer is for photographers, and you will hate us for allowing you only two night’s stay.

India is a photographer's paradise! A sea of human faces to shoot. Young, old and children, wearing beautiful clothes with myriad of colours, smiling, playing, cooking; a pleasure for the shutterbugs! And when a festival falls in between, it is a bonanza!! This is a special itinerary for photography & Photographers which avails the double bonanza of two festivals coinciding. One is Diwali, when innumerous candle lights and colourful lanterns light the houses and the streets; while the other is the Pushkar fair, which is one of the biggest cattle fairs in the world with beautifully decked animals. The fair has folk music and dances to enjoy!! Please check the dates for this itinerary.

Day 4

Jaisalmer

Today we wake up early morning for sunrise shoot from the top of a sand dune. We then go to Khuri Village and chat with the colourful residents of this charming Rajasthani hamlet. Keep your camera charged for Dipawali, the Indian Festival of Light. Enjoy fireworks as the citadel's ancient walls resound and reflect the light of a myriad of decorative lamps.

Day 5

Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

After breakfast we hit the road to Jodhpur. As we drive, we're seeing fascinating glimpses of Thar Desert life flash past. We'll shoot scintillating coloured beams of sunlight streaming through exquisite multi-hued glass panes in cool marble halls; Phool Maha. The Zenana Deodi next,We'll give our cameras a chance to cool, briefly, while we proceed down to the Jaswant Thada. Then we're off to capture amazing slices of Jodhpuri life. Stay two nights in hotel.

Day 6

Jodhpur

Today we head out to a rural Rajasthani village to experience and shoot the amazing world of the Bishnoi Village tribe. Prepare yourself for an adventure ride through encounters, shot opportunities and contrasts that will flatly astonish you. After lunch we'll all amble back down to the Old Town, shooting those seductive blue street scenes.

Day 7

Jodhpur - Narlai

(Driving Time: Approx 4 hours)

In the morning we'll set off for a very special encounter going behind the scenes for a specially organised shoot experience with a very exclusive, rare and photogenic breed of Marwari horses with its grate story of existence and current bloodline. Evening is free to socialise, relax and explore.

Day 8

Narlai

The Rabaris are descendants of an ancient group of nomads who wandered the Thar, today many of them are semi-nomadic, living in small villages. And we've been invited today to join them and share a few hours of their lives with them, up close and personal. We enjoy Opium Ceremony before heading back to and have relaxed evening, because tomorrow, bright and early, we set off to one of the great shows on earth; the Pushkar Camel Fair.

Day 9

Narlai– Pushkar

We'll leave Narlai after breakfast and head out to our tour highlight, the Pushkar Camel Fair, arriving there before noon. Mind-boggling photo opportunities await as after check in and quick wash and change we head down the dunes to Pushkar lake. We head out to a highlight of our Rajasthan photo tour, the hot air balloon ride over Pushkar at Sunset. After an hour's silent, drifting, shooting adventure in the sky above Pushkar, we'll land and head off to dinner.

Day 10

Pushkar

Today we're up at dawn for a sunrise shoot. We'll shoot the snake-charmers, the puppet shows, the haggling of the camel-dealers. Evening, we head out away from the lake to Pushkar town itself to see more amazing slices of life before returning back to our accommodation for dinner. Evening is free for those who like to venture out for some more evening shoots.

Day 11

Pushkar

By now, you'll have the classic shooter's feel for the kind of shot you really want to master at Pushkar. One last glorious, smoky, exotic Pushkar sunset and a bit of jewellery shopping for the folks back home.

Day 12

Pushkar– Jaipur

Today early morning we slip off to the Pink City of Jaipur; stopped en-route to capture shoot worthy tableaux in the towns of Ajmer. Sightseeing and a bit of architectural photography: at Hawa Mahal and the magnificent Amer Fort. If there's time before dinner, we'll experience some of Jaipur's fabled bazaars. Evening free to unwind and do what we each choose. Stay two nights at hotel.

Day 13

Jaipur

Today we’ll start by visiting the elephants we saw yesterday up to the Amer Fort : we’ll find them in a brand new government-funded elephant village Later we move to sari dyeing workshop for some of the most extravagant displays of colour In the evening we explore local bazaar and street shoot.

Day 14

Jaipur - Agra

Today soon after breakfast we first visit Itmad-ud-Daulah so called Baby Taj; we'll make our way to the Taj Mahal and shoot it inside, outside and at perfect sunset taking advantage of when the shadows are long and the sun tints the bone marble with orange. If time permits than explore Taj Ganj.

Day 15

Agra Delhi Departure

Early wake up and head out for one last  Taj Mahal shoot at sunrise. Return back to hotel for breakfast and checkout. Before we return back to Delhi we visit Agra Fort, on arrival in Delhi direct transfer to the airport where you board your return flight back home.
